Cicadas and consideration

It’s early August already, and at night the trees are screaming.

I’m settling into a consulting-heavy workstream with a larger client that’s open to a lot of input. It’s a good fit at the moment, and that makes me happy; I hope to help them out a fair amount. Might inspire a RubyConf talk; I’ll give that thought over the next week or so, if there’s time.

Seeing the East Coast family for a few weeks in August, many for the first time in years. Our youngest has yet to meet many of them. Hoping to get a bit of ocean time in while we’re at it.

My little family remains the utter focus, and that is demanding but lovely.
