Chaos betwixt major clients

Prior major contract ended with less warning than typical, and my expected replacement didn’t shake out, so I’ve had a little time to cool my heels and catch up on overhead. Some of this is pretty dry, but it’s come with additional time with the family: kids running around in Rocky Mountain National Park, more home-cooked meals, and enabling my wife to grow her practice.

These things all remain a balance; I’ll end up taking on another major client, continually exploring options to build wealth of reputation and finance on the side. But with the world always chaotic, having a week to breathe with my family has been precious.

In the meantime, it’s all family time. Almost impossible to do Planned Work Things, but those are ultimately intended to enable this connective time anyways.

Did that make your day a little better?
